In October, there's so many small or one-time activities, events, and things happening that sometimes it's really hard to blog into one post, so I just put many events/activities together as one post.

Since CC went to BYU, we're trying to teach SS to drive. He's been slowly driving around and on a slow day, Da got him to drive all the way to his old work. It brought back many fond memories working at the hospital.

SS also decided to take guitar class during his Junior year of high school. Since we didn't have one and found out that our cousin David also took guitar lessons during his high school years and that the guitar is not being used, we naturally asked to borrow and use it!

It's been a couple years since the Ly family came back to in-person church. When they finally have a few minutes to catch up, the girls played some games on the phone and the boys played ping pong, while the adults caught up and chatted 2 hours after church. It was very good for everyone to catch up.

Abbey was in the mood to make "glutenous rice" 糯米飯, she used New York Brooklyn Kaiye's recipe (Diane's husband). She took the time to chop up all the ingredients and made it so yummy that it literally took 5 minutes for everyone to devour it.

Abbey has been assigned to be church pianist to play Sacrament hymns every so often. She quite rusty and lately Abbey's been practicing to play well during Sacrament service. Even FF has joined her to practice on the piano.

Since SS has joined Troop 773, he's really enjoyed all the activities as well as the advancements. Along with being voted to be SPL (Senior Patrol Leader) he also earned the rank of Life, as pictured below. He is working hard towards Eagle and is doing many things to get there such as fulfilling the health requirement by walking home every day.

Lately FF has been interested in improving her volleyball skills. Da tried to help and coach her but she didn't like his style. So SS was more patient with FF and coached her much much better and improvement.

Since some the young women from Kentland's and Seneca play volleyball, they invited the family to watch them play at Quince Orchard High School. Although they lost, the game was very exciting.

This will be SS second year in the Northwest High School Marching Band. He continues to play the violin in the marching band, and he's the only violinist this year. He really enjoy playing with his band.

Lastly, we haven't forgotten about CC. Although he's enjoying BYU life, we still chat with him on Discord app as well as have video chat with him every Sunday. Of all the years that mom has taught him cooking, he's using all those skills in his college life. Occasionally, when he's free, he'll send photos of what he cooked up making mom very proud. This recent photo of him make this dish made everyone at home very happy that he's eating good and doing good. Even mom made a post on Facebook to tell everyone how proud she is of CC's cooking ability.
