This year is special, it's the first year our whole family is not together taking family photos in front of our Christmas tree. While Elder Zhao is serving his mission in Hong Kong, we used an ipad and get to to just show his face to take the photo with him. The image did not come out as nice as Da hoped, so he updated the image on the ipad to make it look nicer. This year Jacob Yang also joined us, we actually semi-adopted him, and took family photos with us. From his posture, he looks like he's a great uncle! -nonetheless, we still enjoy his company!
Our annual newsletter was also delayed since we waited for Brennan to come home and waited for Elder Zhao's P-day to take the photo. Typically Da would create two pages; one page for year's summary of family events and another page for photos, however since Elder Zhao wrote a comprehensive detailed account of all his events this year, Da decided to also add more photos to reflect the details. So this year's newsletter became four pages.
