It was a bit chilly and windy day but we all wanted to go to DC to see the Cherry Blossoms. The kids haven't seen it since they were really young.

So Da drove his parents, sister, Emilee, Chris, and FF to DC to enjoy the incredible view.

But before we go, since it was a fairly chilly day, we had Pho before going! That hit the spot really nicely!

The traffic in DC was terrible but is expected since everyone wanted to see the beautiful blossoms around the Tidal Basin.

The grandparents stayed in  front of the Jefferson Memorial while the younger ones walked all the around the Basin. We had some beautiful scenic photos!
The highlight was the humongous bag (3lbs) of Cheetos bag we ate while in front of Jefferson Memorial!
The same day, there was a kit festival going on there! it was pretty awesome to see so many colorful kites flying around the National Monument.
There was also the Tulip Garden at the National Mall. There were definitely some beautiful tulips. The photos on the camera didn't come out as nice as the tulips in real person.
We stopped by the Wharf Seafood !
We then went over the National Wharf! They had a Cherry Blossom Festival and then had fireworks show!
And for some reason, everyone wanted McDonalds. Since we walked a lot today, we ate so much at 9:30pm!
Below are photos from Emilee's camera and silly photos!
